Meet the team
William Dalziel is a Partner and head of our Institutional division at the firm. William set up the Institutional business in 2006 and under his leadership it has grown rapidly to now approach $950 million of assets under management. A particular focus for the division is investment management services for the Captive insurance sector.
With over 30 years of experience within the insurance industry, William has developed a comprehensive understanding, from an operational point of view, of the intricacies of insurance companies. This detailed knowledge was applied at London & Capital to create a unique investment management proposition for the Captive insurance firms, starting in the Caribbean and Bermuda, and now also including clients in domestic US and European jurisdictions.
William was previously a Director for Zurich Financial Services’ international business in Latin America and spent 7 years based in Miami. He was recognised by CityWealth as a ‘Leader in Wealth Management’ and also voted one of leaders in the Captives industry (‘Power 50’) both in 2013. William has also been a faculty member of the International Center for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE).
